Insurance Joint Stock Company RSK is a recognized commercial company providing health insurance, accident insurance, travel insurance, insurance for foreigners and non-citizens of Latvia, professional liability insurance and property insurance.

During the last decade RSK has developed to a leading company in health insurance business retaining a bulk of health insurance market in Latvia. The company was founded on June 9, 1994. The sole founder and shareholder of the company is Riga Dome (Riga City municipality).

In 2002 RSK received the quality management system certificate ISO 9001:2000 confirming that RSK is operating in compliance with international standards. RSK is the first insurance company as well as the first commercial company of Riga City municipality getting ISO 9001:2000 certificates.

To ensure availability of insurance services to clients RSK has expanded its network of offices and branches throughout the whole Latvia. At present 26 offices of RSK are operating in the territory of Latvia.

By 2001 RSK has increased its paid up statutory capital to 2 millions LVL. According to the statutory capital and reserve capital RSK is placed the fourth among the non-life insurance companies.
